History The Southern Kansas Brittany Club was formed in 1957. Delmar Smith was very instrumental in getting this club off the ground. Delmar, along with help from Bob Rouse, Marvin Nelson,Sr. (our 1st President), Tom Fife, Tom Black (Towsey owner), Harry Galbraith, John Smith, Richard Graves, Doug Sawtell, Vern Hager, and Freddy Volgemore, worked hard to meet all qualifications to hold a “license” trial.
After holding the required “sanctioned” trials, our first licensed trial was held September 17 & 18, 1960. At the end of the write-up for this trial, Joan Black wrote: “We are hoping that the feeling of good sportsmanship and genuine friendliness that prevailed at this meet, will continue to be the most important part of the

Annual membership is $30.00 for a full membership. Membership entitles you to receive the American Brittany, a monthly magazine published by the American Brittany Club and notices of upcoming events held by our club.
